10 Best Med Spa Marketing Agencies in 2026 (Honest Breakdown)

We profiled 14 med spa marketing agencies and narrowed to 10. Evaluation criteria, honest assessments, and what to ask before signing a contract.

By Matt Watsonfig. 14 min readfor the patient practitioner

I run a med spa marketing agency, so take everything here with that context. I am not a neutral reviewer. I am a competitor to every agency on this list.

That said, I talk to med spa owners every week who are shopping for an agency and have no idea what to look for. The comparison guides ranking on Google right now are mostly written by content farms that have never managed a med spa account. They rank agencies based on website copy and Clutch reviews rather than anything operational.

This guide is different because I actually know what these agencies do. I have lost deals to some of them. I have picked up clients who left others. I know where each one is strong and where they fall short, because I compete against them in the same market every day.

I started with 14 agencies and cut four that either lack public track records, operate as generalists who happen to take med spa clients, or don't have enough current information to evaluate fairly.

How we evaluated

Six criteria. These are the questions I would ask if I were hiring an agency for my own practice.

Med spa specialization. Do they work exclusively with med spas and aesthetics practices, or do they take clients across industries? Specialization matters because HIPAA compliance, treatment-specific keyword strategy, and patient lifecycle marketing all require vertical knowledge that general agencies learn on your dime.

Channel coverage. How many marketing channels do they manage in-house? Practices that hire separate vendors for SEO, paid ads, email, and reputation end up with four dashboards, no integration, and finger-pointing when leads drop.

Market exclusivity. Will they work with your direct competitor? Most agencies will. Some limit by radius. A few lock out competitors at the city level. This matters more than most practice owners realize until they find out their agency is running the same playbook for the med spa down the street.

Track record and proof. Can they show specific results (not just testimonials) with numbers attached? Client retention rate, case studies with measurable outcomes, and references you can actually call.

Contract terms. Month-to-month or long-term lock-in? Who owns the ad accounts and creative assets if you leave? These details matter more than the pitch deck.

Team structure. Is the person on the sales call the person managing your account? Agencies that hand you off to a junior account manager after signing are common in this space.

The 10 agencies

1. Growth99

Best for: practices that want software and marketing from one vendor

Growth99 built a proprietary platform that bundles website hosting, CRM, patient communication tools, and marketing services into one subscription. The pitch is consolidation: instead of paying for a website, a CRM, a review tool, and a marketing agency separately, you get everything in one place.

Their strength is the technology layer. The platform handles online booking, automated follow-ups, and reputation management out of the box. For practices that are starting from scratch and want a turnkey solution, that has real appeal.

The tradeoff is flexibility. You are building on their platform, which means your website, patient data, and marketing workflows live inside their ecosystem. If you leave, you are migrating everything. Their marketing services are also tied to the platform rather than being a standalone offering, so the quality of campaign management can vary depending on your account team.

Good fit for: New practices or those without existing tech infrastructure who want a single vendor for everything.

Less ideal for: Practices with established tech stacks (existing CRM, custom website) who want marketing services without switching platforms.

2. NKP Medical Marketing

Best for: practices that want a long-tenured agency with deep aesthetics roots

NKP has been in the medical aesthetics space longer than most agencies on this list have existed. Their positioning is experience and client retention: they reference multi-year client relationships and a team that has seen the industry evolve through multiple cycles.

They cover the core channels (SEO, paid search, social media, website design) and emphasize their understanding of the medical side of the business. Their creative work tends toward polished and clinical, which fits practices that want a premium, professional image over something edgy or trend-driven.

The limitation is visibility into their process. Compared to some agencies on this list, NKP shares fewer specific performance metrics publicly. Their case studies focus on before/after visuals and client quotes rather than traffic numbers or lead volume. That is not necessarily a red flag, but it means you will need to ask for those numbers directly during the sales process.

Good fit for: Established practices that value stability and long-term agency relationships over aggressive growth tactics.

Less ideal for: Practices looking for transparent, metrics-forward reporting or heavy paid media management.

3. Pronk MedSpa Marketing

Best for: practices that want one agency across every channel with a guarantee nobody else in their city gets the same playbook

Full disclosure: this is my agency.

Pronk is the only agency on this list that locks out competitors at the city level across all services, not just SEO or paid ads. If you are in Nashville, no other Nashville med spa gets Pronk's campaigns, keyword strategy, email sequences, reputation management, or direct mail targeting. That exclusivity extends across 10 channels: SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email, CRM, reputation, direct mail, events, AI search visibility, and patient reactivation (our Boomerang™ program).

I spent the early part of my career helping build the SEO strategy behind Ideal Image before launching Pronk to work exclusively with independent med spas. Programs start at $1,500/month with month-to-month contracts.

We do not build proprietary software. We work with your existing tech stack. We also do not take on unlimited clients in a market. When a city is locked, it stays locked for as long as that client is active.

Good fit for: Practices in competitive markets that want a single point of accountability and a contractual guarantee their agency is not helping the practice down the street.

Less ideal for: Practices shopping for an all-in-one SaaS platform. Pronk is a services agency, not a technology company.

4. Skinspire

Best for: practices focused on AI search visibility and territory-protected SEO

Skinspire positions itself at the intersection of traditional SEO and the emerging AI search landscape. They are one of the few agencies in this space actively building strategy around how practices appear in AI-generated answers from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.

They also offer territory-locking for their SEO clients, which is notable. Most agencies either ignore exclusivity entirely or offer vague radius-based restrictions. Skinspire makes it a defined part of their SEO service.

The limitation is channel depth. Their primary focus is organic search and AI visibility. If you need full-service campaign management across paid ads, email, reputation, and other channels, you would likely still need additional vendors for those pieces.

Good fit for: Practices that want to get ahead of the AI search shift and want SEO exclusivity without paying for a full-service retainer.

Less ideal for: Practices that need integrated multi-channel management from a single vendor.

5. Studio 3 Marketing

Best for: practices that want a premium website as the centerpiece of their marketing

Studio 3 leads with design. Their med spa websites lean toward custom, high-end builds with strong visual identity. For practices where the website itself is a key differentiator (luxury positioning, destination med spas, physician-owned boutique practices), the investment in design quality shows.

They offer supporting services like SEO and paid media, but the website is clearly the anchor of their business. The design portfolio speaks for itself: if aesthetics and brand image are your top priorities, Studio 3 delivers.

The tradeoff is that their marketing services are secondary to the web build. A practice that needs aggressive lead generation through paid channels or deep SEO strategy may find the campaign management less developed than agencies that specialize in those areas.

Good fit for: Practices launching or rebranding that want a visually distinctive online presence as the foundation.

Less ideal for: Practices with a functional website that need lead generation performance over design polish.

6. PilotPractice

Best for: surgical and procedure-heavy practices that need EMR integration

PilotPractice differentiates on the clinical side. Their platform integrates with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, which creates a tighter loop between marketing leads and patient intake. For practices where the handoff between marketing and front desk operations is a bottleneck, that integration solves a real problem.

Their focus skews toward surgical aesthetics and procedure-heavy practices (think: full-service plastic surgery offices that also offer injectables) rather than pure med spas focused primarily on injectables and skin treatments.

The limitation is scope. PilotPractice is a technology-first company with marketing services attached. If you are looking for creative strategy, brand development, or multi-channel campaign management, you will likely need to supplement their platform with additional support.

Good fit for: Surgical practices and high-volume offices where EMR integration and patient workflow automation are priorities.

Less ideal for: Injectable-focused med spas that do not need clinical integration and want more marketing strategy depth.

7. Diamond Accelerator

Best for: practice owners who want consulting, coaching, and staff recruiting alongside marketing

Diamond Accelerator takes a broader approach than pure marketing. They offer business consulting, staff training, and even recruiting services for aesthetics practices. The positioning is "growth partner" rather than "marketing agency."

This model works for practice owners who need help with operations, not just lead generation. If your bottleneck is not leads but rather converting consultations, training new injectors, or building a management layer so you can step back from daily operations, Diamond's scope covers those gaps.

The tradeoff is that marketing is one piece of a broader offering rather than the singular focus. Practices that want deep, hands-on campaign management across paid and organic channels may find the marketing execution less intensive than what a dedicated marketing agency provides.

Good fit for: Practice owners who need operational and business development support alongside marketing. Early-stage practices building their teams.

Less ideal for: Practices that already have strong operations and just need aggressive, specialized marketing execution.

8. The Med Spa Society

Best for: new med spas or rebrands that need brand strategy before they need lead generation

The Med Spa Society focuses on the brand-building side of marketing. Positioning, visual identity, launch strategy, and the foundational work that most agencies skip straight past to start running ads. For practices that are opening, expanding to a second location, or going through a rebrand, that strategic layer is where the value lives.

They understand that a med spa's brand affects everything downstream: what you can charge, which patients you attract, and how your marketing performs once campaigns are live. Practices that invest in brand strategy before turning on paid media tend to get more from every dollar spent on acquisition.

The limitation is that brand strategy is inherently front-loaded. Once the brand is established and the launch is complete, practices with ongoing lead generation needs may outgrow the engagement or need to add a performance-focused agency for day-to-day campaign management.

Good fit for: Pre-launch practices, rebrands, or existing practices that know their brand positioning is holding them back.

Less ideal for: Established practices that already have strong brand identity and need ongoing performance marketing at scale.

9. Brenton Way

Best for: practices willing to spend aggressively on paid acquisition and wanting data-driven optimization

Brenton Way is a performance marketing agency. They lean heavily into paid media (Google, Meta, programmatic) and measure everything against ROI. For practices with the budget and appetite for aggressive paid acquisition, Brenton Way's data-driven approach can scale lead volume quickly.

Their reporting tends to be granular: cost per lead, cost per acquisition, ROAS by campaign and channel. For practice owners who want to see exactly where every dollar goes and optimize based on numbers rather than intuition, that level of transparency is a strength.

The tradeoff is that paid media is their core competency. Organic channels (SEO, content, email, reputation) are either secondary offerings or not part of the scope. Practices that rely exclusively on paid acquisition without building organic foundations are exposed when ad costs rise or platform algorithms shift.

Good fit for: Well-funded practices that want to scale quickly through paid channels and have the budget to sustain aggressive ad spend.

Less ideal for: Practices looking for a balanced strategy across paid and organic channels, or those with modest marketing budgets.

10. The Med Spa Agency

Best for: practices that want omni-channel acquisition without building a vendor stack

The Med Spa Agency covers a wide spread of marketing channels under one roof. Their service menu includes SEO, paid media, social media management, email marketing, and website services. For practices that want one relationship managing multiple channels, that consolidation reduces the coordination tax of managing separate vendors.

They position themselves as med spa specialists (it is in the name) and their messaging focuses on patient acquisition across the full funnel. The breadth of services means a practice can start with one channel and expand into others without onboarding a new agency each time.

The tradeoff is the same one that applies to any agency with a broad service menu: depth versus breadth. Practices with complex needs in a specific channel (deep technical SEO, high-volume paid media optimization, or sophisticated email segmentation) should ask detailed questions about team expertise in that channel specifically.

Good fit for: Practices that need a generalist med spa agency covering multiple channels and prefer one point of contact.

Less ideal for: Practices that need deep specialization in a single channel or want contractual market exclusivity.

How to choose

Start with the criteria that matter most to your practice right now. A practice opening its first location has different needs than one doing $3M in revenue that wants to scale to $5M.

If you are in a competitive metro market, ask every agency on your shortlist whether they will work with other med spas in your area. If they say yes, you now know that your keyword strategy, ad creative direction, and campaign insights are being shared (intentionally or not) with your competition.

If you are early-stage, prioritize agencies that offer brand strategy and foundational marketing before jumping into paid acquisition. Running ads before your website, offer structure, and patient journey are dialed in burns budget without building anything durable.

If you are established and need to grow, look for agencies that can show you results tied to booked appointments rather than vanity metrics. Clicks, impressions, and reach mean nothing if they do not translate to patients in treatment rooms.

Ask for references. Call them. Ask what went wrong, not just what went right. The best agencies have clients who will tell you about problems that got solved, not just successes that came easy.
